  63. This package contains QrRotateLabel v2.0 for QuickReports by BitSoft
  64. Development, L.L.C.  This document contains only a very brief description
  65. of the package and its features, along with instructions for its
  66. installation.  Quite detailed documentation is included in the package,
  67. but it is in archived form, and is more easily read after installation.

  69. QrRotateLabel for QuickReports is a shareware program.  This evaluation
  70. version includes all features of the component, and is not crippled in
  71. any way. You may use it for up to 30 days, without charge.  If you would
  72. like to continue to use the component after this evaluation period, you
  73. are required to purchase the registered version (see "Ordering
  74. information" in the README.HLP file after installation).  Any fee you may
  75. have paid to others (disk vendors, dealers, etc.) to obtain this
  76. evaluation version was a fee for their copying and distribution services,
  77. rather than a payment for continued use of the software.

  91. ===== Installation =====================================

  93. The installation procedure for QrRotateLabel for QuickReports is quite
  94. simple.  The package includes a program, "SETUP.EXE", which automates
  95. the entire process.  You will need about 325kb of available disk space
  96. on the hard drive on which you plan to install QrRotateLabel for
  97. QuickReports for a complete installation.
  98.  
  99. INSTALLING FROM A HARD DRIVE
  100.  
  101. If you downloaded QrRotateLabel from a BBS or an internet FTP site (or
  102. received it in the form of archive files from some other source) you will
  103. need to perform the following steps.
  104.  
  105.    o  Extract the contents of the archive file(s) in a temporary
  106.       directory on your hard drive.  The procedure for doing this
  107.       varies, depending on the form in which you received the package.
  108.       In all likelihood, the fact that you are reading this text means
  109.       that you already have the necessary tools and knowledge to
  110.       perform this step.  If not, you should be able to obtain
  111.       directions for this from the same source from which you received
  112.       the package.
  113.  
  114.    o  Execute the "SETUP.EXE" program which you have extracted.  For
  115.       example, if the temporary directory into which you have extracted
  116.       the QrRotateLabel package is C:\TEMPDIR, you would execute the
  117.       program "C:\TEMPDIR\SETUP" from "File | Run" (in Windows 3.1) or
  118.       "Start | Run" (in Windows 95).

  120.    o  Follow the instructions presented by the installation program.
  121.       You will have a chance to approve installation before any changes
  122.       are actually made to the contents of your hard drive.  The
  123.       program will ask you for a destination directory, and will copy
  124.       the QrRotateLabel files to that directory.  It will make no other
  125.       changes; specifically, it will not modify your autoexec.bat or
  126.       config.sys files.

  128. When you're satisfied that the installation was successful, you should
  129. delete the temporary directory FROM which you installed the
  130. QrRotateLabel component (C:\TEMPDIR, in the above discussion), including
  131. all its contents.
